About The Abyssinian Fund: The Abyssinian Fund is committed to reducing poverty in Ethiopia - the birthplace of coffee. Coffee farmers in Ethiopia make less than $500 per year. Most farmers don’t have access to the training and equipment necessary to grow great quality coffee. Mission Statement: The Abyssinian Fund will host an event targeted to young professionals to procure funds for its 2015 objectives. The objective of this event is to serve as a ‘kickoff’ to instigate awareness of The Abyssinian Fund in this cohort, increase the database of supporters for future events and fundraising, and encourage continued participation and support for The Abyssinian Fund in 2015 and beyond.
