Last Saturday, The inaugural Dreamleapers Retreat was held at MIST. The retreat, created by media veteran Harriette Cole and sponsored by Prudential, had a wide selection of entrepreneurs and experts that would spend the day helping to inspire, teach, and educate aspiring entrepreneurs. Panel discussions were held on a variety of business topics. Carol's Daughter founder Lisa Price spoke about building a business and selling it, Curtis Archer, John Henry, Jeffrey Shick and others discussed the financial aspect of funding a business, and Melba Wilson spoke about starting and growing a restaurant. There was also a speedleaping segment, where attendees spent a few minutes talking and pitching with experts in various fields, rotating tables every 10 minutes or so.
