Our long time friends Shared Interest hosted a one-night special event with renowned South African musicians Wouter Kellerman, Bhakiti Kumalo, Beledo and Chuggy Carter.

World music flutist, Wouter Kellerman recently sold out Carnegie Hall and his latest release has reached # 1 on the Billboard charts. Hear Kellerman perform “The Long Road”, a tribute to Nelson Mandela, performed in South African 80,000 seat stadium on Nelson Mandela Day in 2013.

 

South African Bakithi Kumalo has worked with a wide variety of diverse artists including Harry Belafonte and Cyndi Lauper and is most known for his bass playing on Paul Simon’s Graceland. He has regularly toured with Paul Simon since then.
