About Valdaniel:

Drawing on multifarious influences such as American and Irish folk, rock, soul, blues, Latin and Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Valdaniel loops vocals and multiple instruments together to weave a rich cord both tethered in and embellishing the singer/songwriter tradition in a genre he refers to as Americana Folk-Hop. He has performed his unique sound and multi-faceted live show in Colombia and Brazil in addition to many of New York City's esteemed venues including The Bitter End, Caffe Vivaldi and The Nuyorican Poets Cafe. Most recently, he served as a composer and performer in the new theatrical cabaret show "New York Stories" at Stage 72 on Manhattan's Upper West Side."

"Valdaniel is kind of...Sonny Terry meets Tom Waits." -Jesse James, guitar/vocals "James Brothers"
